Warna kulit belang atau warna kulit tidak merata yang sering dialami oleh masyarakat Indonesia, karena sering terpapar sinar matahari.
Penyebab lain warna kulit tidak merata bisa karena melasma, solar lentiginosis, atau bekas luka ataupun bekas jerawat yang biasa disebut post inflamatory hiperpigmentation (PIH).
Tindakan yang dapat dilakukan untuk mencegah kulit belang adalah memastikan untuk selalu memproteksi kulit dengan memakai produk pelindung matahari.
Berikut beberapa hal yang perlu diketahui:
SPF. SPF (Sun Protection Factor) adalah penentu seberapa lama seseorang dapat berada di bawah sinar matahari tanpa terbakar selama memakai produk tersebut. Lihat angka SPF, 1 SPF dapat memproteksi sekitar 10 menit. Tersedia Esther Sun Lotion, atau Esther Sun Cream yang memiliki SPF lebih dari 30.
Terdapat dua tipe dari produk pelindung matahari:
- Kimiawi
Pelindung matahari kimiawi bertindak menyaring sinar UV sebelum mencapai lapisan kulit serta merusaknya. Produk ini sebaiknya tidak dipakai untuk kulit sensitif, karena sering menyebabkan iritasi.

Fisik
Produk pelindung matahari fisik mengandung zinc oxide atau titanium dioxide yang membangun lapisan di atas permukaan kulit. Produk pelindung matahari dari Esther tergolong jenis ini, sehingga aman digunakan untuk kulit sensitif. Contohnya, Esther Sun Lotion untuk kulit berminyak, merintis dan berjerawat. Esther Sun Cream untuk kulit kering atau normal.
Tindakan yang dapat dilakukan untuk mencegah dan mengatasi kulit belang:

Gunakan produk pelindung matahari seperti
Esther Sun Lotion atau Esther Sun Cream. -
Teknik Eksfoliasi
Gunakan kosmetik yang mengandung butiran scrub, seperti Esther Peeling Cream maupun Esther Exfoliating Cream. Bisa juga dengan menggunakan cairan peeling yang dilakukan oleh dokter di klinik, seperti Glowing Peel, Light Melasma Peel, dan Deep Melasma Peel.
